It’s a joy and a challenge to raise kids in today’s increasingly complex world. Are our children eating right? Where should they go to school? Are their talents being nurtured? Are we too strict? Too lenient? And what about spirituality? How and what do we teach our kids about God?

At Church Without Walls, children are a unique and vital part of our church life. We believe that kids are created to receive God’s love and have the capacity to experience and grow in their relationship with Jesus. As a church family, we share in what God is doing in the lives of our younger members through age-appropriate teaching, parent support and All Family Worship.

Programs for Kids:

Toddlers (18 months to 3 years):  Our toddler class is led by a certified Early Childhood Educator who creates a loving, safe and cozy place for our littlest kids.  Age appropriate stories and songs accompany bubbles, games and toys to foster an environment for learning about God's love. Sundays, 5:15-6:20pm

Preschool (3 to 5 years): Our preschool class is lead by a certified Early Childhood Educator who creates a safe, loving and consistent setting for play based-learning. The preschool class starts with 45 minutes of relaxed play followed by circle time, which includes a Bible story, singing and (quite often) jumping and dancing!
Sundays, 5:15-6:20. 

(Preschool and toddler classes are dismissed from Celebration to their classes, parents walk their children to their classes and return to pick them up from their classes at 6:20 or during communion, whichever comes first.)

Elementary (Grades K-5): Elementary aged children participate in Godly Play, a story-based curriculum that encourages collaborative listening, thoughtful question-asking and creative response.
Sundays, 5:15-6:15. 

(K-5 are dismissed from Celebration to their classes and escorted by their teachers back to Celebration before communion.)

All Family Worship: On the first Sunday of each month, children (ages 5 and up) worship with the youth and adults. In this way, we endeavor to show and teach that we are one church family, and that members of all ages can worship, share and learn with one another.
