When and where do you meet on Sundays? We meet at 5 pm at 2117 Acton Way (Berkeley Chinese Community Church) in Berkeley.
Do I have to be a Christian to check out your church? No. In fact, we welcome visitors, seekers and skeptics—anyone on a spiritual journey.
What’s up with your name? We are Church Without Walls because a “church” is not a building but people who gather to love God and one another. We want to be bearers of hope to the world and pray that Jesus would remove the walls of injustice, racism and every kind of hatred.
Are you affiliated with any denomination? While Church Without Walls, Berkeley maintains strong relationships with other churches and missions agencies, it is presently independent and not formally affiliated with a denomination.
Who’s in charge? We are governed by a board of elders, men and women who have been selected for their wisdom, leadership and love for the church. They oversee all aspects of church life, including supervision and review of the staff and pastors. |
