"In the beginning was the Word...." These famous words open the Gospel of John, and launch us into a distinctive and mesmerizing story of the revelation of Jesus. This summer, we spotlight the first four chapters of John which contain some of the most iconic moments in Jesus' ministry: the Wedding at Cana, Nicodemus, the Woman at the Well. Through study and reflection, we hope (and pray) for a deeper encounter with Jesus, the word made flesh, and what it means to incarnate his presence in the world.  West Berkeley Neighborhood Playtime takes place every Saturday all summer! A low-key, casual opportunity for kids, youth and adults to hang out in the park with neighbors. We’ll play games, sports, board games or just enjoy the sunshine! Who? You! Where? 10th Street Park (10th & Allston) When? Every Saturday This Summer, 3-5p Why?
